Why is mute-labs much more affordable than its competitors?

We are the price leader for office pods and achieve this by standardizing production, low margin planning and cutting out the middlemen. To put it simply, the booths come from us directly to you. Moreover, our direct to consumer model enables us to speak directly to our customers in case of questions, queries or repairs.

Do you also have a booth for 2 people?

No. Deliberately not. The reason is that our QUATTRO, with a depth of 1.30 m, is only slightly larger than a two-person cabin should be. The additional 30 cm depth (compared to the SOLO) gives you the option of using our QUATTRO as a four-person cabin if necessary. But it perfectly fits two people.

Is there an Ethernet connection in the booths?

Yes and no. QUATTRO comes with an Ethernet port. The SOLO comes without. But it works great with WiFi and 4G/5G.

How good is the sound insulation?

Excuse me? If you want to put it in numbers, the booths keep out 41db (walls) and 37 db (door). To put it in practical terms, when you sit inside, the noise is so contained that it no longer distracts you and you can concentrate fully on your work.

How long can I sit in the booths?

If necessary, you could spend the entire working day in our booths. However, most of our customers use our telephone and meeting booths more as a supplement to their normal workstation, so that they have peace and quiet for an important phone call or meeting. The SOLO telephone booth has a ceiling fan, while the QUATTRO meeting box has two ceiling fans. The air volume is exchanged at least once a minute, ensuring fresh air at all times. In addition, both booths provide an optimum power supply for your devices. So even longer meetings are no problem.

Do you have showrooms so I can test the booths live?

Of course! The link below takes you to our showroom page where you can book an appointment directly. Please note that our meeting booth QUATTRO is not on display in all locations. If the nearest showroom is too far away or you would like to see the meeting booth QUATTRO, we'd be happy to show it to you in a virtual demo.

Can I customize the booths?

Yes and no. We achieve our low prices through strict standardization. However, for orders of 30 booths and more, this is of course possible. If you have questions about a special project, please contact us at any time and we will explain the next steps to you.

Where are the booths manufactured?

The phone booth SOLO and the meeting booth QUATTRO are manufactured in Germany (with materials from Germany) according to highest quality standards in state of the art production facilities. This means short transport routes and less CO2 footfall in our supply chain.

What products do you offer?

We offer room-in-room solutions that can be set up cost-effectively and flexible. Our phone booth SOLO is for one person, the meeting booth QUATTRO for up to four people. Both booths have everything you need: Lighting, ventilation, a table and of course the sound insulating double walls.

Can I change the SOLO in the office?

Sure. SOLO is as easy to assemble as it is to diesassemble. If the floor in your office is smooth you can simply put a blanket under it's feet and slide it around. CAUTION: It is important that you put something (a blanket!) under the feet, so they don't break when you push the booth around.

What tools do I need?

To assemble the phone booth SOLO, you need nothing more than an hex-wrench and a star screwdriver. We supply you with both at the same time.

Can I assemble SOLO myself?

Yes! 2 people without assembly experience can normally do this within 40-60 minutes. Our record is 6 minutes and 47 seconds. To make it easier, we also supply assembly instructions.

How many boxes does the SOLO come in?

SOLO comes in 3 boxes and is delivered to the office:

#1: Dimensions: 100*100*35 cm, weight: 55.5 kg
#2: Dimensions: 105*215*10 cm, weight: 87 kg
#3: Dimensions: 105*215*10 cm, weight: 85 kg

Do I need accessories for the phone booth?

The phone booth SOLO comes with everything needed for concentrated work: ventilation, lighting, table and of course sound insulating double walls. Optionally, there is a stool designed by mute-labs, which is adapted to the height of the table. Otherwise any stool with a seat height of approx. 75cm fits.

Can I move the QUATTRO in my office?

The meeting pod is not fixed or mounted to the ground or wall. Small rearrangements are possible, but it is not possible to move the QUATTRO around the office or above door steps. Please get in touch with us and we'll arrange a move with our technicians.

Can I assemble QUATTRO myself?

No. The assembly is carried out by our craftsmen and is charged at £ 800 in GB. This ensures that your cabin really does stand like a 1 in the end. Self-assembly is not possible.

Do I need accessories for the meeting booth?

For your comfort in the booths, we have a bench and a screen mount for the meeting booth QUATTRO. All products can be optionally added to QUATTRO - but also work without.

What is the difference between Deepwork Booth QUATTRO and Meeting Booth QUATTRO?

Deepwork Booth QUATTRO and Meeting Booth QUATTRO are identical. The only difference is the table. While the QUATTRO Meeting Booth has a large table for 4 people, the Deepwork Booth has a height-adjustable desk for 1 person.

Can I assemble QUATTRO myself?

No. The assembly is carried out by our craftsmen and is charged at £ 800 in GB. This ensures that your cabin really does stand like a 1 in the end. Self-assembly is not possible.

Can I move the QUATTRO in my office?

Like the SOLO, the QUATTRO Deepwork Booth can be set up freely and is not fixed to the floor or wall. The assembly is a bit more complex, so it can only be done by our assemblers. If you want to move the QUATTRO, we recommend professional craftsmen to move the booth.

How long can I work in the QUATTRO?

Our Deepwork Booth QUATTRO is big enough to work comfortably and focused for a whole day. 4 fans provide constant fresh air and dissipate the heat, 3 power outlets and 1 LAN port supply your devices. Additionally, you can crank the height-adjustable desk to your desired position at any time. The perfect single office: You will love it!

Do I need accessories for the QUATTRO?

The cubicle comes fully equipped with indirect lighting (optimized for video calls), 4 fans for constant fresh air, 3 power sockets, a LAN connection and a visually matching height-adjustable desk (crank). A desk chair and a desktop monitor are not part of the offer

How does the assembly work?

The SOLO telephone booth is very easy to assemble. Our assembly instructions are very intuitive and two people with no assembly experience can usually do it in 40-60 minutes. Unfortunately, self-assembly is not possible for the QUATTRO meeting box, as the assembly is considerably more complex. For this reason, assembly is carried out by our craftsmen and is charged at €800 in Germany. This ensures that your booth really does look like a 1st class meeting box in the end.

Do you ship abroad?

Yes, we ship to England, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark and the Netherlands for a delivery charge.

Shipping for the SOLO phone booth costs 300€ and £350 for England each. Assembly is charged at €300/£350 per booth.

The QUATTRO delivery amounts to €700 each, and £700 each in England. A further €800/£800 is charged for the complex assembly of the QUATTRO. The delivery of our accessories is free of charge. Reach out to us for details! If your country is not listed, we'd be happy to find a solution for you.

Is it possible to get the booths set up by mute-labs?

Sure! Assembly of the SOLO booth is charged at £350 each, while £800 for the QUATTRO.

Is delivery to England free of charge?

Unfortunately not. Delivery costs for the SOLO phone booth amount to £300, and £700 for the QUATTRO meeting/deepwork booth.

Do you deliver the booths into the office?

The booth will be delivered to your desired space. So no annoying carrying to the 5th floor - that's all done by the shipping company.

How long are delivery times?

Delivery takes 2 weeks for the SOLO phone booth and 4 weeks for the QUATTRO. We are happy to meet delivery dates in consultation with our shipping partners.

Can I rent or lease your phone and meeting booths?

No, quite the opposite. Buying is cheaper than renting. Not quite intuitive, but it is.

Why? The return logistics costs for a phone booth are extremely high. Once the office pod is unpacked and set up (and the packing material thrown away), it becomes expensive to retrieve. The components are delicate. They have to be individually packed for transport and also individually carried down and loaded by 2 people. In addition, a used phone booth can no longer be sold at its original price.

In short: The product phone booth is not suitable for rental. Companies that do offer rental, have to pass these costs on to the customer (YOU!) - and it shows in their prices. You will be lured with low monthly costs, but after 36-60 months you will realize that the costs exceed our unmatched price by double or even triple. Furthermore, there is a minimum rental period of 3 months, which simply surpasses our price. Lastly, there are extra penalties if the lease agreement is terminated prior to its expiration date. The promised flexibility is not really real - or at least VERY expensive.

What about discounts?

The price for the SOLO telephone booth is already 50% lower than our competitors' prices. That's great. The other side of the coin is that we have little room for maneuver when it comes to discounts. That's why we unfortunately don't offer discounts for small quantities.

Why does mute-labs value "Made in Germany" so much?

We produce 100% in Germany for two reasons. Firstly, this is the only way we can guarantee our high standards of quality and workmanship. Secondly, centrally located production leads to short delivery routes and a better CO2 balance.

Are the materials used sustainable?

To protect the environment, we avoid unnecessary plastic. The wood used comes from sustainable timber management and is certified according to the standards of the "FSC" of the "PEFC" and the new ISO 38200 : 2018.

What does mute-labs do for sustainability?

In order to contribute to climate protection, we have launched the campaign "One Booth - One Tree" where we plant a tree for every booth sold. Not in Brazil or Indonesia, but here in Germany, where we produce our booths. To make sure that for each box a tree is planted, we will put on the rubber boots, pick up the shovel and plant the trees ourselves.

How does the 30-day money-back guarantee work?

We are sure you will love the phone booth SOLO. However, if you are not 100% satisfied, we will take your booth back and refund you the full purchase price. Is there a guarantee?
